I had an email from someone yesterday who told me that they loved my Poppy Watercolours so much, they used them as inspiration for their wedding cake!
It looks fantastic & what’s even more amazing is that all of the flowers are edible & made from florist paste!

This summer, the UK & especially my home town Crewe, has gone crazy for Rock Painting! All over the UK, towns have set up Facebook pages called ‘Love On The Rocks’.
You paint a rock, write 'Love On The Rocks’ on the back, along with the town you are from & hide it for someone to find.
When you find someone’s rock, you take a photo of it & post it on a 'Love On The Rocks’ Facebook page and then you can either keep it or rehide it for somebody else to find!
It’s lovely to see who finds your rock & amazing to see how far some of these rocks have travelled!
These are some of the rocks I have painted! They’ll be coming with me to Chester Zoo on Friday to be hidden. I can’t wait to see who finds them!

A few weeks ago I told you about one of my illustrations ‘A Quilt Of Honey Bees’ being used by a lovely German Honey Company called ‘Bee Loved’.
Well, here it is! I couldn’t be more proud. I’m in love with these jars of Honey, not only do they look great but the Honey tastes incredible too. The owners, Martin & Birgit have done an excellent job and let’s not forget to praise all of those wonderful busy bees who have been hard at work creating all that yummy Honey!

2018, what a year it’s been so far!
I had an accident in February & broke my knee cap which needed surgery to repair it. It’s been a long road to recovery but I’m just about getting back to normal. I haven’t been posting lately, however I’ve still been busy creating & painting.
I’ve lots of new work to share with you all & I also have some very exciting news regarding one of my illustrations ‘A Quilt of Honey Bees’ being used on the labelling & branding for a lovely German honey company called ‘Bee Loved’. Pics to follow very soon! xx

I found some bird books this weekend at a table top sale at Bridgemere Garden Centre. My favourite book was this one about Finches. Just look at those neon feathers! A very beautiful and agile little bird. I’m brimming with ideas, so this evening will be spent in the studio with my sketchbook. xoxo
